Your day involves ensuring the reliability and performance of gas turbine hydraulic systems by disassembling, inspecting, repairing, testing, and troubleshooting hydraulic components during outages and maintenance activities. You work closely with field teams and customers to deliver safe, high-quality service, interpret hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings, resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate service documentation in compliance with industry standards.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

You work closely with field teams and customers to deliver safe, high-quality service, interpret hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings, resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate service documentation in compliance with industry standards.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, installation, and testing of hydraulic valves, cylinders, pumps, and motors to ensure optimal system performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and basic electronic control system issues using hydraulic schematics, mechanical drawings, and specialized diagnostic tools.
- Support planned outages and maintenance activities by executing onsite installations, repairs, and equipment servicing at customer locations.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships by identifying service issues, providing technical explanations, and delivering effective field service solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while maintaining accurate documentation of service activities, repairs, certifications, and training records.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, vocational training, or a related technical apprenticeship with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic system maintenance and repair.
- Certified in Fluid Power Hydraulics (CFPHS or equivalent) with relevant field service, safety, and environmental compliance certifications.
- Strong expertise in the maintenance, repair, testing, and inspection of hydraulic valves, cylinders, pumps, and motors.
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and associated electronic control circuits.
- Skilled in customer-facing field service, technical documentation, record keeping, and the use of diagnostic tools, inspection equipment, and standard IT/service software.
