Job Title: Instrumentation & Control Technician
Reporting Line: Administrative: Instrumentation & Control Supervisor
Job Purpose: Performs maintenance, installation, overhauling, and modification of instrumentation and control systems and equipment in the plant. Follows standard procedures, HSE guidelines, and quality standards to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications And Experience
Education:
- Technical Certificate or Associate Diploma in Instrument Engineering
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years in instrumentation and control maintenance in plant
Skills
- Practical knowledge of plant equipment
- Knowledge of maintenance and emissions
- HSE and quality awareness
- Teamwork
- First aid knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Instrumentation and Control Maintenance:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance per schedule
- Monitor equipment condition and report to Supervisor
- Respond to failures and perform corrections
- Troubleshoot and repair instruments with proper tools
- Diagnose faults in control valves, transmitters, etc.
- Read and apply technical manuals and diagrams for tasks
- Align, adjust, calibrate systems and log work
Documentation:
- Maintain maintenance logs
Continuous Improvement:
- Support improvement initiatives and projects
Policies and Procedures:
- Follow all policies and procedures
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Comply with HSE procedures and controls
Other Duties:
- Perform other assigned tasks I&C Technician
