About The Role
We're looking for an IAM Operations Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to support and run SailPoint-based identity services in a production environment. This role is hands-on and operational, focused on keeping IAM services stable, secure, and running smoothly while continuously improving processes and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow
- Handle identity lifecycle events (joiners, movers, leavers)
- Monitor provisioning jobs, connectors, and integrations
- Troubleshoot access issues, failed provisioning, and SailPoint errors
- Support access requests, approvals, and certifications
- Work with application teams to onboard and maintain integrations
- Assist with SailPoint upgrades, patches, and changes
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
- Support audits and compliance activities when needed
- Look for opportunities to improve automation and operational efficiency
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in IAM or security operations
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint (IdentityIQ or IdentityNow)
- Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management
- Experience with access provisioning and governance processes
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud apps
- Comfortable working with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic scripting or automation (PowerShell, Java, REST APIs)
- Experience in managed services or production IAM environments
- Exposure to audits or compliance frameworks
SailPoint certification or formal training
