SSH is looking for an ICT Design Engineer with exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS) and Low Current (ELV) systems to join our Building Design team in Cairo. The successful candidate will support the design, coordination, and delivery of intelligent building solutions across a wide range of multidisciplinary projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and integrate Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, and automated control architectures for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate automation technical deliverables, including I/O summary schedules, control schematics, system architecture diagrams, and sequence of operations (SoO).
- Coordinate hardware, field devices, and network communication interfaces between BMS, SCADA, ICT infrastructure, and third-party MEP/Smart systems.
- Validate automation and control design compliance with local statutory authority regulations, client requirements, and international industry standards.
- Provide technical site support to review submittals, resolve automation interface issues, and oversee testing and commissioning activities.
Skills & Experiences
- Solid understanding of BMS, SCADA, DDC controllers, PLC architectures, and field instrumentation.
- +5 years of experience in the same field.
- Hands-on experience with standard industrial communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, OPC UA, MQTT).
- Practical knowledge of central control room integrations, graphics UI design concepts, and system monitoring parameters.
- Proficiency in coordinating automation Containment, Mechanical, Power, and Network cabling requirements within REVIT and AutoCAD.
- Experience in preparing technical specifications, point lists, and logic diagrams for building automation and central control systems.
