We are looking for an ICT/ELV Inspector with solid experience in QA/QC inspection and site supervision of ICT and ELV systems on large infrastructure projects, preferably airports or other complex operational facilities.
The candidate should have practical experience in inspection of ICT/ELV installations on site, with a clear understanding of inspection processes, quality procedures, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and manufacturer requirements.
The candidate should have experience in:
- Material inspections, verifying that delivered materials and equipment comply with approved submittals and project specifications
- Installation inspections for ICT/ELV field devices, including:
- CCTV cameras and accessories
- Access Control devices such as readers, controllers, locks, magnetic contacts, and exit buttons
- Equipment racks and cabinets
- Wi-Fi access points / antennas
- DAS equipment and related telecom components
- Cable infrastructure inspections, including copper and fiber optic cabling, routing, termination, labeling, patching, and testing records
- Containment and pathway inspections, including conduits, trunking, cable trays, ladder racks, sleeves, supports, and segregation from other services
- Rack and technical room inspections, including equipment layout, labeling, workmanship, grounding/bonding, containment entry, power coordination, and general installation readiness
- Inspection of site installation quality, workmanship, and compliance with approved shop drawings and project requirements
- Identification of non-compliance, missing items, poor installation practices, and interface issues with other disciplines
- Review and follow-up of standard site quality documents such as MIR, RFI, NCR, punch list / snag list, and inspection reports
- Support to testing and commissioning inspections, including verification of installation readiness before testing and handover
Preferred background:
- Experience on airports, transportation, commercial, mixed-use, or other large and complex developments
- Familiarity with ICT/ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Wi-Fi, DAS, telecom rooms, and related passive infrastructure
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives
