Role Description The Import Manager – HVAC Division is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah. This position oversees the end-to-end import process for HVAC and refrigeration products, including supplier coordination, order placement, documentation, and shipment tracking. The role manages relationships with international vendors, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely and compliant deliveries. Daily responsibilities include monitoring inventory needs, optimizing shipping schedules and costs, resolving import-related issues, and aligning import activities with sales and operations requirements. The Import Manager also collaborates with finance and compliance teams on duties, taxes, and regulatory requirements and supports continuous improvement of import procedures and systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in import management, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably within the HVAC or technical products sector.
  • Background working with HVAC, Refrigeration, or related technical products
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements for imports into the U.A.E. and regional markets.
  • Strong skills in vendor and stakeholder management, negotiation, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs agents.
  • Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) for reporting and tracking shipments.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills in English; Arabic or other regional languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Sharjah, collaborate across departments, and respond promptly to operational needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are
