Job Description

Job Summary

The Indirect Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement of non-production goods and services (e.g., IT, marketing, facilities, HR services, travel, and professional services). The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier management, and ensuring compliance with company policies while supporting business operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and contract execution
  • Develop and implement category strategies for indirect spend (IT, services, facilities, etc.)
  • Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service levels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct supplier evaluation, onboarding, and performance management
  • Analyze spend data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead or support tendering processes and vendor selection
  • Manage purchase orders (POs), contracts, and procurement documentation
  • Monitor market trends and supplier landscape to improve sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to understand and fulfill business needs

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • 25+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (preferably indirect categories)
  • Experience in handling categories such as IT, marketing, facilities, or professional services
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier management
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and advanced Excel skills
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus
