Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Legal (Egypt) to support legal operations and assist across various legal matters relevant to the organization. The role involves supporting senior legal professionals, assisting with legal documentation, ensuring compliance with Egyptian laws, and helping mitigate legal risks. This position is suitable for a legal professional seeking growth within a flexible working environment.
Role Description
1. Assist in providing legal support on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters under Egyptian law
2. Support drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents
3. Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable local and national laws and regulations in Egypt
4. Identify potential legal risks and support the development of risk-mitigation strategies
5. Support dispute resolution, litigation management, and coordination with external counsel when required
6. Assist in maintaining company policies, governance frameworks, and internal controls
7. Monitor legal and regulatory developments in Egypt and communicate implications to internal stakeholders
8. Assist with legal due diligence, documentation, and compliance audits as needed
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)
2. Eligible to practice law in Egypt (registration with the Egyptian Bar Association preferred)
3. 1–3 years of relevant legal experience (corporate, commercial, advisory, or internship experience preferred)
4. Good knowledge of Egyptian laws and regulatory frameworks
