Ecoryx is a Saudi-founded environmental and sustainability consultancy headquartered in Saudi Arabia, working with organizations across the MENA region on sustainability, ESG, and climate-related advisory, digital, and assurance services. As part of our continued investment in strong company foundations and governance, we are expanding our established Impartiality Committee with additional independent members.

About the Role

Ecoryx's Impartiality Committee provides independent oversight of impartiality, conflicts of interest, and commercial pressure across the organization, safeguarding the separation between our advisory, digital, commercial, and assurance activities.

The Committee challenges management, reviews systemic risks, monitors corrective actions, and escalates material concerns when required. Committee members do not deliver client assignments or approve individual validation or verification opinions.

We are inviting expressions of interest and nominations from senior professionals to join the Committee as independent members.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Accreditation, conformity assessment, or professional assurance
• Environmental and greenhouse gas validation and verification
• Sustainable finance, capital markets, sustainability bonds
• Governance, ethics, risk, compliance, or legal
• Academia, regulation, issuer, investor, or wider public-interest perspectives

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Strong professional standing and independent judgement
• The confidence to challenge senior leadership
• No material conflict involving Ecoryx, its relevant clients, partners, or validation and verification activities

The Appointment

• Paid, independent oversight appointment
• Four scheduled meetings per year, with limited preparation and occasional consultation on urgent matters
• Open to members based in Saudi Arabia, elsewhere in the GCC, or internationally
