Job Purpose
To manage and optimize the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of indirect materials and services, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, compliance, and timely availability to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Manage procurement of indirect categories (e.g. MRO, services, utilities, CAPEX support, IT, logistics, facility services, HR-related services).
- Identify qualified suppliers, issue RFQs/RFPs, and conduct commercial and technical evaluations.
- Lead negotiations to achieve optimal cost, quality, delivery, and payment terms.
- Prepare comparative statements and support award recommendations.
Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, service level).
- Address supplier issues and drive corrective actions when needed.
- Support supplier onboarding and compliance with company policies.
Cost Control & Optimization
- Identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
- Support budget control and spend analysis for indirect categories.
- Track savings initiatives and report achieved results.
Contract & Compliance
- Support preparation and administration of contracts and service agreements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethics, and governance standards.
- Ensure adherence to SAP procurement procedures and documentation requirements.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Finance, HR, Maintenance, IT, Admin, Operations).
- Understand business needs and provide procurement solutions accordingly.
- Support PR-to-PO cycle and ensure timely execution.
Reporting & Systems
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Prepare periodic procurement reports (spend, savings, supplier performance).
- Ensure data accuracy within SAP or other procurement systems.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
Experience
- 03 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome).
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
