Job Description

Strategy & Operations Manager (Remote Saudi Market)Role Purpose

The Strategy & Operations Manager is a senior leadership role within the consulting leader group, responsible for ensuring that strategy engagements delivered to Saudi Arabian clients are operationally executable, scalable, and value-driven.

The role operates remotely (outside KSA) while maintaining strong engagement with Saudi-based clients and leadership teams, bridging strategy formulation and execution through operating model design, execution roadmaps, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities1. Leadership & Strategy Contribution
  • Act as a core member of the consulting leader group, contributing to firm strategy, offerings, and growth in the Saudi market.
  • Partner with Strategy Partners and Managing Directors to ensure strategic recommendations are implementation-ready.
  • Challenge strategic assumptions using operational, financial, and organizational insights.
  • Participate in senior leadership forums, governance committees, and internal decision-making bodies.
2. Strategy Execution & Operating Model Leadership
  • Lead the design of Target Operating Models (TOMs) aligned with Saudi client strategies, regulations, and governance structures.
  • Define organizational structures, decision rights, governance models, and end-to-end operating processes.
  • Translate strategy into clear execution roadmaps, phased initiatives, and transformation plans.
  • Oversee or support strategy-to-execution programs delivered remotely or in hybrid mode.
3. Saudi Market Delivery (Remote)
  • Deliver consulting engagements for Saudi government, semi-government, and large private-sector organizations.
  • Apply strong understanding of:
  • Saudi governance and decision-making models
  • Vision 2030 transformation context
  • Public-sector and large-enterprise operating environments
  • Maintain regular engagement with Saudi clients through virtual leadership workshops, steering committees, and executive reviews.
  • Travel to Saudi Arabia when required for critical milestones (as needed).
4. Value Creation & Performance Management
  • Lead business case development including cost modeling, productivity analysis, capacity planning, and ROI.
  • Design KPI frameworks and performance dashboards aligned with Saudi client objectives.
  • Ensure value realization tracking throughout execution phases.
  • Support financial and operational performance reviews at executive level.
5. Stakeholder & Client Management
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, Deputy Ministers, VPs, and senior leaders in Saudi organizations.
  • Manage complex stakeholder environments remotely with cultural awareness and executive presence.
  • Support proposal development, bids, and client pursuits targeting the Saudi market.
6. Team & Capability Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and review consultants and senior consultants across engagements.
  • Ensure delivery quality and consistency across multiple workstreams.
  • Contribute to development of methodologies, tools, and thought leadership for Saudi-focused offerings.
Required QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (mandatory).
  • Master's degree (MBA, Engineering Management, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience
  • 815 years of experience in:
  • Strategy consulting, operations consulting, or transformation consulting
  • OR senior industry roles with strong strategy and operations exposure
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects in the Saudi market (mandatory).
  • Experience working with government, semi-government, or large Saudi enterprises.
  • Proven ability to lead engagements remotely across geographies.
  • Experience engaging C-level and senior government stakeholders.
