Role Description

We are seeking a skilled AVEVA PI Engineer with 13 years of experience in industrial data systems and real-time data infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting AVEVA PI Systems (formerly OSIsoft PI). The role includes data engineering, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing, enabling real-time analytics and operational insights. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams across global projects, supporting both onsite and remote delivery.

Qualifications

• Design, configure, and implement AVEVA PI System components, including PI Data Archive, PI AF (Asset Framework), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces/Connectors.
• Integrate PI System with industrial systems such as SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and other OT/IT platforms.
• Develop and maintain PI AF structures, analytics, and data models aligned with business and operational use cases.
• Design and deploy PI Vision dashboards to provide actionable insights for operations and management teams.
• Perform system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and support PI infrastructure maintenance and upgrades.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across real-time data flows.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients across global regions.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and project teams to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.
• Document system configurations, technical issues, and solutions within internal knowledge systems.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 13 years of experience in AVEVA PI System / OSIsoft PI or industrial data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with PI AF, PI Vision, and PI Interfaces/Connectors.
• Basic understanding of industrial automation systems (SCADA, PLCs, DCS).
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc.)
• Fluent English is essential for effective communication with international stakeholders(spoken and written) a must.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Highly Preferred:

• Valid US / Canadian / European visa or citizen
• Familiarity with Industrial Automation and Industrial Netowrk.
• Background in Food & Beverage, Life Sciences.
• AVEVA PI certifications are a plus.
