About The Role

Dar is looking for a dynamic Industrial/Mechanical Engineer to design mid-to-large catering, food & beverage production and laundry facilities and enhance operational efficiency. As the bridge between client and Dar, you'll design facility where you will streamline workflow and efficiency. This role requires analytical understanding, problem-solving, process mind set and design.

Industrial/mechanical Engineers Job Responsibility and Duties:

• Design efficient workflows, layouts, and systems.
• Analyze and optimize production processes to reduce waste and costs
• Collaboration and coordination with cross-functional teams and different design disciplines
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry regulations
• Relevant equipment sizing, collaboration with different equipment suppliers, generating equipment utility matrices with demands
• Generate specifications
• Bills of Quantity

Industrial Engineer Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ years in design of catering facilities is required.
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Strong analytical and optimization abilities.
• Ability to visualize designs and implement them.
• Excellent proficiency with tools like AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit design tool is beneficial.
• Strong industrial process and supply chains background.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards as well as the industry's best practices.
• Knowledge of HACCP is beneficial.
• Detail-oriented and efficiency-focused approach.
• Assignment flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Very good command of English language written and spoken.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or related field.
