Position Summary
Handles daily electrical wiring, panel assembly, and troubleshooting to keep plant equipment powered and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Panel Assembly: Assembles and wires industrial control panels cleanly and professionally.
- Cable Dressing: Keeps all control box wires neatly organized, tied down, and labeled.
- Power Routing: Installs electrical conduits, cable trays, and pulls heavy power cables for new machinery.
- Fault Finding: Diagnoses basic electrical issues like blown fuses, bad relays, short circuits, or faulty 24VDC sensors.
- Motors & Drives: Connects, tests, and replaces standard 3-phase electric motors, pumps, and VFD speed controllers.
- Dust Protection: Cleans electrical junction boxes regularly, keeping seals tight against fine powder short circuits.
- Shift Support: Leads and guides the technician crew during standard operational shifts.
