Industrial Engineer

Job Purpose:

Oversee and manage daily production operations across carpet manufacturing stages (spinning, weaving, finishing, and inspection), ensuring planned output targets are met with high quality, minimal material waste, and optimal labor and machine efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and supervise carpet weaving and finishing lines, assigning tasks to technicians and operators to maintain seamless shift operations.

- Ensure daily and weekly production targets are achieved according to scheduled timelines and product specifications.

- Monitor product quality at every stage, identify root causes of defects (e.g., weaving or finishing flaws), and implement actions to minimize raw material waste.

- Work closely with the maintenance team to promptly address unscheduled machine breakdowns and maintain adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.

- Track attendance, evaluate worker performance, and train operators on production standards, safety protocols, and operational best practices.

- Prepare daily and monthly reports for upper management covering production output, waste percentages, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and operational bottlenecks.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Textile, Production Engineering).

- From 5 to 7 years of proven experience in textile or carpet manufacturing environments.

- Resident of the 10th of Ramadan, Badr City.

- Strong familiarity with carpet weaving machinery, finishing processes, and quality assurance standards.

- Strong leadership, practical problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to handle high-pressure factory environments.
