Qualifications and Skills

Diploma in Refrigeration Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

At least 5 years in a technician role.

In-depth knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and Freon systems.

Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical and electrical faults.

Experience servicing reciprocating, screw, and scroll compressors, as well as condensing units and packaged refrigeration units.

Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and troubleshoot PLC-based or controller-based systems.

Proficiency in using gauges, multimeters, vacuum pumps, and recovery units.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Familiarity with maintenance management systems and reporting tools.

Knowledge of safety protocols for handling refrigerants, pressurized equipment, and electrical systems
