We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to join our team for a long-term engagement in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, and proficiency in database development and automation. Prior experience within the banking domain will be considered a strong advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Perform end-to-end ETL development, testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze, transform, and load data from multiple sources into enterprise data warehouses.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver efficient data solutions.
- Optimize performance of ETL jobs and troubleshoot data loading issues.
- Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts integrated with Informatica workflows.
- Coordinate with teams for deployment, version control, and production support.
- Provide documentation, technical support, and ensure adherence to coding and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development.
- Strong understanding of Informatica ETL architecture, services, and deployment.
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Facts, Dimensions, Slowly Changing Dimensions).
- Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL development and optimization.
- Experience working in Linux environments with shell scripting.
- Exposure to SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language is a plus.
- Experience in the banking or financial services domain preferred.
