Informatica MDM/RDM Specialist – Dubai

Location: Dubai, UAE – Onsite

Contract: Initial 6 months, with potential extension

Engagement: Full-time contract

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) Specialist to support and enhance an established enterprise data-management environment.

This is a hands-on role covering application support, incident resolution, data-quality improvement, reference-data maintenance and the delivery of new MDM/RDM enhancements and initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, data teams and technical stakeholders in a complex, large-scale organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for the existing Informatica MDM and RDM implementation.
Investigate and resolve MDM/RDM incidents, data issues, workflow failures and user-reported problems.
Monitor MDM processes, interfaces, workflows, batch jobs and data loads, resolving failures and exceptions.
Review master-data quality and identify duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent or inaccurate records.
Support data-cleansing, deduplication, record matching, merging and remediation activities.
Analyse business requirements and deliver enhancements to existing MDM/RDM functionality, workflows, rules and configurations.
Support the onboarding of new master-data domains, applications, business units and processes.
Maintain reference data, including code values, hierarchies, mappings and associated approval workflows.
Develop a data-consistency report for a key enterprise application, highlighting discrepancies and supporting remediation.
Perform root-cause analysis and introduce measures to prevent recurring data and application issues.
Produce and maintain technical, functional and operational documentation.
Collaborate with business, data-governance, application-support and integration teams.

Essential Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica MDM and Reference Data Management.
Experience supporting MDM/RDM solutions within a live production environment.
Good understanding of master-data and reference-data principles, governance and lifecycle management.
Experience monitoring and troubleshooting MDM jobs, workflows, interfaces and data loads.
Strong knowledge of data-quality management, profiling, cleansing, matching, deduplication and record merging.
Experience configuring or enhancing MDM/RDM rules, workflows, hierarchies, mappings and approval processes.
Strong incident investigation, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical changes.
Good SQL and data-analysis skills.
Strong stakeholder-management and communication capabilities.

Desirable Experience

Experience onboarding new data domains or business applications into an Informatica MDM/RDM environment.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata management and enterprise data-quality frameworks.
Experience producing data-consistency, reconciliation or exception reports.
Previous experience working within a government, public-sector or large enterprise environment.
Familiarity with integrations between MDM/RDM platforms and downstream enterprise applications.

Working Arrangements

This is an onsite position in Dubai for an initial six-month contract. Candidates must already be based in Dubai or be willing and able to relocate and work onsite for the duration of the engagement.
