Information Security Analyst

Role Purpose

To monitor, analyze, and enhance the security posture of Al Salama Hospital by identifying risks, assessing vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and information protection standards, in alignment with hospital policies, MOH regulations, and JCI/CBAHI requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations & Risk Management

Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across ICT systems and hospital databases.

Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, threats, and anomalies.

Maintain and enhance incident response and disaster recovery plans.

Compliance & Governance

Support the ICT Director in ensuring compliance with MOH, CBAHI, and JCI cybersecurity standards.

Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.

Track and close corrective actions related to audit findings.

Policies, Awareness & Reporting

Develop, implement, and monitor information security policies, standards, and procedures.

Deliver information security awareness training and promote best practices among staff.

Prepare periodic information security reports and dashboards for management review.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in information or cybersecurity analysis, including risk assessment and incident management.

Preferred

Experience in healthcare or regulated environments (MOH, CBAHI, JCI).

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer

HACCP certification.

Experience in hospital or clinical food services.
