Job Title: Information Security Engineer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer responsible for protecting organizational systems, networks, and data through the implementation of security controls, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response activities. The role ensures compliance with cybersecurity standards while strengthening the organization's overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security architecture including firewalls, VPNs, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
- Monitor systems and network traffic to detect and analyze security threats and suspicious activities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, security scans, and penetration testing to identify risks.
- Lead incident response activities including investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches.
- Maintain and upgrade security tools, infrastructure, and patch management processes.
- Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and internal policies.
- Support audits and contribute to continuous improvement of security frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 36 years of experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity roles.
- Hands-on experience with security tools, SIEM monitoring, vulnerability management, and network security.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and threat detection techniques.
Preferred Certifications
CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or ISO 27001 certifications are advantageous.
