Information Technology Engineer

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to manage and maintain Trakker Middle East's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security. By implementing best practices in network engineering and security, the IT Engineer plays a critical role in supporting business operations and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities (Functional Competencies)

Audit of Du/Etisalat sims

Administering and tracking the performance of Azure cloud resources, including VMs, storage accounts, and network configurations.

Installing, configuring, and optimizing Windows Server 2019 datacenter in cloud-based environments.

Installing and Configuring SQL Server 2019 Standard/ Enterprises for Database support for inhouse development solution (ERP & Custom Dashboard).

Scheduling auto Jobs for daily and weekly database backup by using maintenance plans management in SQL server 2019.

Installing and configuring IIS7 on a web server for hosting and managing web applications.

Critical database has been backed up to cloud storage account, ensuring multiple layers of protection and availability.

Review telecommunication bills detail & share with Accounts team

Managing and providing support for Microsoft Office 365, including configuration and administration tasks.

Ensuring a secure and efficient IT infrastructure by implementing best practices and monitoring.

Configuring and managing domain settings and SSL certificates for optimal security and functionality.

Coordinating and delivering demos and training for IVMS solutions based on client request.

Managing the testing process for internally developed dashboards to ensure functionality and reliability.

Administering and managing IVMS cloud- solutions running in TME (Navixy, Wialon, Howen, Teletix, Oversee tracking & Secure path (SIRA).

Managing the allocation and routing of vehicles to clients account based on help desk activities.

Managing Etisalat and Du m2m sim cards activation and deactivation process on M2M portal based on help desk activities.

Overseeing monthly vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and functionality of Driver Fatigue monitoring solutions.

Configuring user accounts and applying appropriate rights management policies for the IVMS solution.

Create user credentials for new clients and coordinate with the call center team to forward them.

Providing comprehensive troubleshooting support for client-related issues on IVMS solution.

Conducting remote inspections for Driver Fatigue vehicles and providing clients with updates on the status of DMS and ADAS.

Troubleshooting & updating office computers ( Ms. Office , windows & networking )

Coordinate and update the system with the driver fatigue supplier for updating firmware's and addressing daily client issues.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

1 to 3 years of experience in network support or related roles
