Legnano Teknoelectric Company Middle East, worldwide leader in the production of high-performance cores and laminations for transformers & reactors, is looking for its Dubai seat a skilled, experienced, proactive, and hands-on IT Help Desk & System Administrator.
This role is focused on delivering reliable end-user support and ensuring stability, security, and smooth day-to-day operation of local IT services.
The position is part of the Dubai IT team and involves close interaction with internal users, local infrastructure, and office systems. It is well suited for an IT professional who enjoys hands-on support, technical problem solving, and taking ownership of operational IT responsibilities in a dynamic business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second level IT support to office and site users (hardware, software, operating systems, network, and application issues).
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Support on-site users, including onboarding and offboarding (account setup, hardware allocation, access management).
- Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions according to internal IT processes.
- Administer and maintain Windows-based systems.
- Perform basic server administration tasks.
- Monitor system performance and availability, and escalating issues where required.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and licensing records.
- Coordinate with local vendors and service providers for IT purchases, maintenance, and repairs.
- Support meeting rooms, AV equipment, and office connectivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, etc.) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or corporate office environment is highly preferred.
