Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager is responsible for leading and managing the organization's IT infrastructure operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable systems across the enterprise. The role oversees identity and access management, infrastructure security, system administration, vulnerability management, endpoint management, Zero Trust secure access platforms, and cloud services. The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead the infrastructure team, ensure service availability, enforce security best practices, and maintain compliance with organizational policies and IT service management standards. The role also ensures infrastructure operations align with enterprise governance, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Leadership
Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure team, ensuring efficient delivery of infrastructure services.
Define operational procedures, standards, and best practices for infrastructure management.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.
Manage team workload, performance, and professional development.
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Oversee identity lifecycle management including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role management.
Implement and manage identity governance policies and access controls.
Ensure secure authentication and authorization across enterprise systems.
Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Manage privileged access controls and monitor privileged accounts across critical systems.
Implement and enforce least privilege principles and access monitoring policies.
Work closely with security teams to mitigate insider threats and unauthorized access risks.
Network & Application Vulnerability Management
Oversee vulnerability scanning and remediation processes across infrastructure and applications.
Coordinate with security teams to prioritize and mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
Ensure continuous monitoring and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
Zero Trust & Secure Access Platforms
Oversee implementation and governance of secure access platforms including Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
Ensure secure remote access architecture aligned with Zero Trust security principles.
Define policies for secure internet access, application access, and secure remote connectivity.
Ensure integration of secure access platforms with identity services and endpoint security controls.
Systems & Cloud Infrastructure Management
Manage enterprise systems including servers, virtualization platforms, and endpoint management solutions.
Oversee endpoint and device management platforms including Microsoft Intune, JAMF, and other Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
Ensure secure configuration and lifecycle management of Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
Manage cloud infrastructure services including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
Ensure efficient resource utilization, scalability, and system performance.
Service Management & SLA Monitoring
Monitor infrastructure service performance and ensure compliance with internal SLAs.
Manage incident response, problem resolution, and escalation procedures.
Implement ITIL-aligned processes for infrastructure service delivery.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation including architecture diagrams, procedures, and system configurations.
Generate operational and performance reports for IT leadership.
Ensure proper documentation of changes, incidents, and system updates.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure IT infrastructure operations comply with organizational policies, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining appropriate infrastructure controls and documentation.
Ensure infrastructure services align with enterprise governance standards and security policies.
Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to continuously improve infrastructure security posture.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with internal departments to support business technology requirements.
Coordinate infrastructure support for enterprise applications and services.
Work with security, compliance, and operations teams to align IT infrastructure with organizational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of proven experience in IT infrastructure management or system administration roles.
Experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments including servers, virtualization, and cloud services.
Proven experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 architecture and licensing management.
Experience with endpoint management solutions including Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or other enterprise MDM platforms.
Experience managing secure access platforms such as Zscaler (ZIA / ZPA).
Experience in vulnerability management and infrastructure security practices.
Familiarity with Zero Trust security architecture and secure remote access frameworks is highly desirable.
Professional Certifications
Relevant professional certifications in cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, cybersecurity, or IT service management will be considered a strong advantage.

Knowledge of Linux administration is an advantage.
