Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Officer to manage our digital infrastructure and support our distributed team. You will be the primary point of contact for technical issues, ensuring our cloud-based systems are secure, efficient, and accessible. As a remote role for a Dubai-based entity, you will bridge the gap between technical operations and business continuity in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Remote Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues via remote desktop tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or LogMeIn).
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS environments, including user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure all remote endpoints are secure by managing Antivirus/EDR solutions, implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and monitoring VPN access.
- Software Deployment: Manage the roll-out of new applications and ensure all company devices are updated with the latest security patches.
- Data Backup & Disaster Recovery: Oversee automated backup solutions to ensure data integrity and lead recovery efforts in case of system failures.
- Asset Management: Maintain a digital inventory of all company-issued hardware and software licenses.
- Collaboration Tools: Optimize and troubleshoot communication platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom to ensure seamless internal collaboration.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Fresh Graduate
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
- Hands-on experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools like Intune or Jamf.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, or ServiceNow).
- Certifications: CompTIA A+/Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Associate (highly preferred).
- Soft Skills: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
