Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Supervisor – IT PMO / Service Management to lead and oversee the organization's IT Project Management Office (PMO) and IT Service Management (ITSM) functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for governing IT projects, service management processes, change management, IT governance, vendor performance, service delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, project governance expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to align IT operations with business objectives and enterprise governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

IT PMO & Project Governance

  • Lead and supervise the IT Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Govern the enterprise IT project portfolio and ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and resource utilization.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, portfolio reports, and project performance metrics.
  • Ensure project governance standards and methodologies are consistently applied.

IT Service Management

  • Lead and oversee IT Service Management (ITSM) operations.
  • Govern Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and Service Level Management processes.
  • Monitor service performance, operational KPIs, and continual service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure IT services meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Promote operational excellence across IT support functions.

IT Governance & Compliance

  • Supervise IT Governance and Change Management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and IT audit recommendations.
  • Support governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain audit readiness and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Drive alignment with enterprise governance frameworks and best practices.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Manage relationships with vendors and managed service providers.
  • Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and SLAs.
  • Support contract governance, service reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate vendor escalations and service delivery improvements.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Support IT financial planning and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor IT operational costs, resource utilization, and service efficiency.
  • Participate in budgeting, contract management, and investment planning.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational savings.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and support PMO and Service Management team members.
  • Foster collaboration across infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, and business teams.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and executive management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational maturity across IT functions.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IT Project Management Office (PMO) practices.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices.
  • Experience with IT Governance, Change Management, and Project Portfolio Management.
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks.
  • Experience managing vendors, managed service providers, and service contracts.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT Project Management, IT Service Management (ITSM), PMO, or IT Governance.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Experience in IT financial management, budgeting, contract management, and resource planning.
  • Experience working with enterprise ITSM and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms.
