Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in the banking domain, possessing at least 34 years of continuous experience managing large-scale banking projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and alignment with business goals. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to be based in Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale banking and financial services projects.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, QA, and operations.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor and report on progress.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards specific to the banking industry.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations across business units and external vendors.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and team performance.
- Lead project governance, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of total professional experience, with at least 34 years managing a single large-scale banking project.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong understanding of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and financial services operations.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with banks or financial institutions in the GCC region, especially Saudi Arabia.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SAMA guidelines.
- Bilingual proficiency (Arabic and English) is a plus.
