Position Objectives: To lead and manage end-to-end IT projects across the organisation, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and maintaining governance standards across all active workstreams
- Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, risk registers, and budget trackers.
- Lead project governance activities, including steering committee meetings, status reviews, and milestone reporting.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating to senior leadership where required.
- Coordinate across internal IT teams - including infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, and operations - to ensure aligned delivery.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, system integrators, and technology consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track and report project progress against KPIs, SLAs, and delivery milestones, producing regular status updates for IT leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate change management processes, ensuring all scope changes are assessed, approved, and documented.
- Prepare and present project documentation, including business cases, project charters, RAID logs, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure all IT projects comply with internal governance frameworks, cybersecurity policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and contributing to PMO best practices and project delivery standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
- Strong command of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid frameworks.
- Hands-on experience managing infrastructure, ERP, cybersecurity, cloud migration, or digital transformation projects.
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
- Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel for resource planning and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-level and senior executive audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- PMP certification is required. PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile certifications, such as CSM or SAFe, are a strong advantage.
