The IT Project Manager/ Senior Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning, solution design, and delivery of IT greenfield and large-scale infrastructure projects across the organization.
The role focuses on infrastructure, security, cloud, and operational readiness, ensuring that newly built IT environments are scalable, secure, compliant, and seamlessly transitioned to IT operations for ongoing support.
The position plays a critical role in translating business requirements into robust technical solutions and ensuring successful project execution end to end.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT greenfield projects across infrastructure, security, cloud, and data center domains, from initiation through handover to operations.
- Translate business and operational requirements into end-to-end IT solution designs, ensuring scalability, security, cost-efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Oversee solution architecture and technical design for networks, cloud platforms, virtualization, security systems, data centers, and related infrastructure components.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution and integration of IT solutions.
- Embed security controls, compliance requirements, and risk management practices into all project designs and implementations, in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage vendor selection, contracts, performance, and deliverables for project-related services, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards.
- Ensure effective transition and handover of completed projects to IT operations, including documentation, operational readiness, monitoring frameworks, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Establish and enforce project governance, reporting standards, and methodologies, providing regular status updates, dashboards, and executive reports to the CIO and senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational readiness.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL are strongly preferred.
- Previous Experience:
- 10-15 years (minimum 5 years as manager) of progressive experience in IT project management, with strong exposure to greenfield, infrastructure, or large-scale transformation projects.
- Proven experience in solution design and delivery across infrastructure, security, and cloud environments.
