We are now looking for a passionate and experienced IT Sales Specialist to join our team and contribute to our growing portfolio of government projects.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven IT Sales Specialist with a proven track record in the technology sector. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing sales cycles for government tenders, including the ability to review and analyze technical aspects of bids and proposals. Experience with the Etimad platform is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within Saudi Arabian government entities and related agencies. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Tender and Proposal Management:
Lead the process of responding to government tenders (RFPs, RFIs). This includes thoroughly reviewing technical and commercial requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Technical Review:
Analyze and review technical proposals and specifications from competitors and for our own submissions to ensure they meet client needs and highlight our competitive advantages.
Etimad Platform:
Manage and navigate the Etimad government bidding platform for tender submissions, follow-ups, and overall management of the bidding process.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within government bodies. Understand their unique challenges and propose tailored IT solutions.
Market Analysis:
Stay updated on IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape within the Kingdom to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal presales, technical, and delivery teams to develop compelling proposals and ensure a seamless customer experience from sale to implementation.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
*Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in IT solutions sales, with a focus on the public or government sector in Saudi Arabia.
*Demonstrable experience in reviewing technical offers for competitive bids.
**Highly Preferred:* Hands-on experience using the Saudi government's *Etimad* platform for procurement and tenders.
**Technical Knowledge:*
*Strong understanding of IT services and solutions such as cloud services, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and enterprise software.
*Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Skills:
*Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
*Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
*Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the MS Office Suite.
*Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Education:
*Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
