We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Security Engineer to join our team. As an IT Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and managing the security measures that protect our organization's computer systems and networks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our IT infrastructure is secure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, and provide detailed reports on findings and remediation recommendations.
- Configure and manage security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security solutions into existing infrastructure and applications.
- Provide security training and awareness programs to educate employees about security risks and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as an IT Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, antivirus software, and encryption.
- Experience on the Systems like paloAlto, Symantec, F5, ISE, Proofpoint etc.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mandatory Certification CCIE Security or similar.
- Additional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
