CÉ LA VI Dubai is looking for a proactive and solution-driven IT Specialist to support our hospitality operations across the business. This role offers flexible working arrangements (office-based and/or remote) and is ideal for someone who understands the pace of hospitality and can translate operational needs into reliable IT solutions.
IT Specialist Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day IT support to hospitality operations, ensuring systems run smoothly and downtime is minimised.
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot MICROS POS systems, including menu updates, pricing, reporting, and integrations.
- Act as a key liaison between Operations, Finance, and external IT vendors to resolve system issues efficiently.
- Support the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of hospitality systems (POS, back-office, reporting tools, etc.).
- Ensure data accuracy, system security, and compliance with internal IT and data protection standards.
- Assist with system upgrades and rollouts
- Document processes, provide basic user training, and support teams in adopting new systems and best practices.
- Proactively identify system improvements that enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven IT experience within hospitality or F&B environments.
- Hands-on experience with POS is essential.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and how technology supports service delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, service-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work independently in a flexible office/remote setup, while remaining responsive to operational needs
