ITXPROS is seeking a talented, resourceful, and energetic IT Specialist to join our IT team. Who will be responsible for providing technical support, performing hardware maintenance, managing IT documentation and inventory, and ensuring smooth network operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support & Hardware Maintenance

  • Provide comprehensive Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support to all internal users via in-person, phone, and remote assistance.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on desktop PCs and laptops, including: System cleaning and applying thermal paste/compound, Replacing screens, RAM modules, SSDs, cooling fans, and other components, and Testing and validating hardware parts, chargers, and identifying faulty components.
  • Execute operating system-level tasks, including: Backup operations, Disk cloning and system imaging, and Installation and re-imaging across various operating systems.

2. Documentation & Inventory Management

  • Document all daily tasks, technical reports, and troubleshooting processes with accuracy and clarity.
  • Manage and update the full IT asset inventory, including laptops, PCs, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports for each device, tracking: Specifications, Repair/maintenance history, and Assigned user and current location

3. Network & Vendor Coordination

  • Perform basic network troubleshooting and configuration tasks, including: Working with MAC addresses, IP configuration, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to: Access Points, CCTV systems, and Basic network failures
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors, especially Internet service providers (ISPs), and manage company accounts, checking usage consumption, and ensuring timely payment of all service bills.

Bonus Nice to Have

  • Network experience at the CCNA level (or equivalent knowledge).

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or hardware maintenance roles (fresh graduates with strong technical skills may apply).

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware diagnostics and repair.
  • Hands-on experience with operating system installation, imaging, and troubleshooting (Windows required; MacOS/Linux is a plus).
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, routers, APs, switches).
  • Experience handling IT documentation, tracking, and inventory systems.
  • Familiarity with CCTV and access point troubleshooting is a plus.
