Job Description

Job Purpose:

Provide high-level support to the IT Manager and Supervisor in daily operations.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Promote Jayasom's wellness and sustainability culture by leading through example.

General Responsibilities:

Maintain effective communication across all levels and support teams in delivering excellent service.

Build strong professional relationships with colleagues, corporate office, guests, and ownership.

Foster a collaborative, professional, and positive work environment.

Comply with company policies, fire, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

Participate in meetings, trainings, and employee initiatives as required.

Contribute to achieving business targets with a proactive and innovative approach.

Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Key Operational Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth, proactive operation of all IT systems across the property.

Support departments by optimizing applications and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Implement IT policies, procedures, and standards, including self-audits and guest-facing technologies.

Assist the IT Manager in daily operations and system improvements.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate timely resolutions.

Prioritize IT incidents impacting guests or revenue and support preventive maintenance.

Maintain accurate IT inventory and system records.

Stay updated on new systems and technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Ensure all IT-related risks and hazards are reported and addressed promptly.

Job Requirements:

BSc/BA in Information Technology or Computer Science (preferred) with experience in a similar IT role and multicultural environments.

Strong knowledge of information systems and resort technologies including Opera, Micros Symphony, networks, and operating systems.

Technical proficiency in Windows environments, Opera PMS, Micros POS, email systems, cloud solutions, mobile device management, and guest-facing technologies.

Understanding of IT security standards and PCI compliance.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-focused skills.

Positive, reliable, and adaptable attitude with high work ethics and integrity.
