Job Summary

The IT Specialist is responsible for providing timely and effective technical assistance to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role ensures smooth IT operations by troubleshooting problems, maintaining systems, and delivering excellent customer service. The specialist will handle support requests via ticketing systems, phone, email, or in-person, while documenting solutions and contributing to knowledge bases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to company employees (remotely and on-site).
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, corporate services, and network infrastructure issues.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain workstations (PCs, laptops, phones, peripherals).
  • Install, update, and configure office and specialized software.
  • Advise users on corporate IT systems and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation, manuals, and knowledge base articles.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in technical support / Helpdesk roles.
  • Proficiency in Windows and macOS (setup, diagnostics, troubleshooting).
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi, Active Directory).
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Comfortable handling routine tasks and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Azure.
  • Proficiency in MS 365.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and troubleshooting common issues.
  • Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP).
  • Basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals).
  • Experience with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure).
