Job Purpose:
Support the leadership team in translating Jayasom's strategy into effective programs, policies, and procedures.
Provide high-level technical support to ensure the stability, security, and continuity of the resort's IT systems and networks.
Promote Jayasom's wellness and sustainability culture by leading through example.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain effective communication across all levels and support teams to deliver excellent service.
Build strong professional relationships with colleagues, corporate office, guests, and ownership.
Foster a collaborative, professional, and positive work environment.
Participate in meetings and contribute to achieving business objectives.
Approach tasks with a proactive, innovative mindset and perform additional duties as required.
Key Operational Responsibilities:
Lead and support the continuity, stability, and security of all IT systems and networks across the resort.
Monitor system performance, usage, and future requirements, recommending improvements as needed.
Research, recommend, and implement new hardware, software, and applications to support operational and business needs.
Develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery and data protection plans.
Analyse business requirements and provide effective technical solutions to enhance efficiency and data flow.
Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and integration to minimize downtime and data redundancy.
Manage network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware.
Lead and prioritize the workload of the IT team and provide technical guidance and training.
Review service delivery and project progress, reporting status updates to management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as an IT Manager, preferably in a luxury resort or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of information systems, networks, software applications, and database management.
Experience with project management, system integration, and network security.
Ability to lead multicultural teams and support pre-opening operations.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude with high professional integrity.
