Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Location: UAE

Reporting to: IT Manager

Monthly Salary Range: AED 9,000 to AED 10,500

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and service-driven Information Technology Support Engineer to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable day-to-day IT operations across the organisation.

This role is the first point of contact for all IT-related support, providing hands-on technical assistance to internal users while maintaining high standards of professionalism, security, and efficiency. You will work closely with senior IT team members and external vendors, supporting core systems, resolving incidents, and contributing to continuous improvement across IT services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, system, and network issues in a timely and structured manner.
  • Log, track, and manage incidents through the IT ticketing system, ensuring clear documentation, prioritisation, and closure.
  • Administer and support Google Workspace and provide end-user support for Microsoft Dynamics ERP in coordination with technical and functional teams.
  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals, ensuring compliance with IT standards and security controls.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset, licence, and warranty records.
  • Support employee onboarding by preparing systems access and equipment from day one.
  • Perform routine checks on network connectivity, systems, backups, and security controls.
  • Support IT projects, system upgrades, rollouts, and process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Service Desk roles.
  • Strong experience administering Google Workspace and supporting Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
  • Solid technical knowledge of Windows environments, enterprise applications, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), and end-user hardware.
  • Experience working with IT ticketing systems, SLA-driven support, asset management, and basic IT security best practices.
  • Service-oriented, well-organised, and ownership-driven, with strong communication skills, a structured problem-solving mindset, and interest in automation and modern IT tools.
  • Valid driving licence.
