Job Summary
We are looking for an L1 IT Support Engineer providing first-line IT support for POS systems, desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity. The role includes installing and updating operating systems and applications, configuring user accounts and email, performing basic hardware and network troubleshooting, supporting cabling and rack setups, and maintaining accurate IT documentation and asset records.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line IT support (POS, printers, desktops, laptops).
Install & update operating systems, applications, and security patches.
Configure Outlook and manage user accounts on the domain.
Support wired/wireless network connectivity and basic troubleshooting.
Assist with router, switch, and Wi-Fi access point configuration.
Perform hardware upgrades and replacements (RAM, HDD/SSD, PSU).
Execute structured cabling tasks: tracing, crimping, punch-down, testing, labeling.
Support rack setup for servers and networking equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT issues, resolutions, and asset inventory.
Required Skills
Minimum 1 years of L1 IT support experience in Saudi Arabia is mandatory
Willing to travel across various branches in Saudi Arabia
Should be flexible to travel to Jeddah on an ad-hoc basis and manage end-user support in coordination with the Dubai office whenever required, fully complying with all company policies and data protection guidelines.
Good communication, coordination and documentation skill.
Knowledge of Windows installation, updates, and basic troubleshooting.
Ability to configure PCs, printers, and POS devices.
Understanding of basic networking (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi setup).
Hands-on ability to replace or assemble hardware components.
Familiarity with antivirus/security basics.
Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
