Information Technology System Administrator

The IT System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's core IT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and operational efficiency. The role supports the administration of Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory / Entra ID, virtualization platforms, backup systems, and endpoint management solutions.

The position ensures system availability, supports secure user access, and collaborates with network and cybersecurity teams to maintain stable and secure IT operations across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

· Administer and maintain Windows Server services including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file and print services.

· Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams to ensure reliable collaboration and communication services.

· Manage user identities, access control policies, and authentication mechanisms including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access using Active Directory and Entra ID.

· Maintain and support virtualization environments such as Hyper-V or VMware to ensure efficient use of infrastructure resources.

· Manage backup operations and disaster recovery systems, including performing periodic restore tests to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

· Support endpoint management through tools such as Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, and patch management solutions to maintain secure and updated systems.

· Ensure system security through regular updates, security hardening, and compliance with IT security policies and standards.

· Troubleshoot system, authentication, and infrastructure-related issues and provide timely technical support to users and internal IT teams.

· Coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams to resolve connectivity, system performance, or security-related issues.

· Maintain accurate IT infrastructure documentation including system configurations, procedures, and architecture diagrams.

Job Requirements:

- Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Previous Experience:

· 0-5 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure support, or IT operations.

· Hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 services.

- Special requirements:

· Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory administration.

· Experience with Microsoft 365 services and identity management using Entra ID.

· Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware and backup solutions.

· Solid understanding of endpoint management, system security, and patch management practices.

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills with basic networking knowledge.
