Job Title: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Dubai
Job Purpose
The Infrastructure Architect will contribute to the design, deployment, and integration of hybrid infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and on-premise environments. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure services, including FinOps support and Power BI integration.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, On-Prem).
- design Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and AVD.
- Integrate and maintain connectivity between on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Support DR/HA, backup solutions, performance tuning, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Work closely with FinOps or infrastructure cost governance teams to track and optimize cloud usage.
- design in implementing and managing identity and access controls using AD, ADFS, Azure AD, and Conditional Access.
- Develop Power BI dashboards to enable infrastructure for enterprise-wide reporting.
- Participate in solution evaluations, infrastructure planning, and capacity assessments.
- Support the definition of infrastructure standards and best practices across IT teams.
- Contribute to BCP/DR planning and implementation of resilient solutions.
- Work with internal teams and vendors for implementation support and issue resolution.
- Support automation initiatives using scripting and infrastructure as code tools.

- Microsoft 365 platform knowledge and integration skills
- Familiarity with FinOps and cost optimization best practices
- Hybrid network and identity integration (on-prem + cloud)
- Implementation of resilient, high-availability infrastructure
Skills Required
- 3+ years of experience with Azure and/or AWS services (compute, storage, networking)
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 components (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, AVD, Intune)
- Good understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, Conditional Access, ADFS
- Familiarity with Power BI deployment components (gateways, capacity, refreshes)
- Exposure to FinOps tools or practices related to cloud cost visibility and reporting
- Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform preferred)
- Basic understanding of containers and AKS/EKS (optional but beneficial)
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Education And Experience
- Minimum Education: Bachelor of Engineering / MCA / Master's in Computer Science
- Total Experience: 10 years in IT Infrastructure, with 45 years in cloud and M365 projects
Certifications (Preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Solutions Architect
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator or Messaging Administrator
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
- FinOps Certified Practitioner (optional but preferred)
- TOGAF (optional but preferred)
