Job Title: Infrastructure Design Senior Engineer (Roads & Bridges)

Reporting Line: Utilities & Infrastructure Design Senior Manager
Job Location: Head Office (New Cairo)
Responsibilities
- Review road and pavement design submissions from consultants to ensure alignment with master plans, technical requirements, and standards.
- Verify horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, cross-sections, and pavement structures based on topographical and geotechnical data.
- Ensure compliance of road designs with local and international codes as well as project-specific guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (utilities, development) to ensure proper integration with infrastructure systems.
- Identify design gaps, inconsistencies, and risks, and provide clear technical feedback for resolution.
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment.
- Review BOQs, specifications, and technical reports related to road design packages.
- Support value engineering and optimization initiatives to enhance design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in tendering by reviewing technical aspects of road design documents.
- Follow up on RFIs, design clarifications, and approvals during construction to ensure compliance with approved designs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience: 46 years of experience in road design and infrastructure projects
- Certifications: PMP is a plus
- Skills: Road design review, pavement design, alignment verification, coordination, value engineering, BOQ review, and technical reporting
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and relevant design software
- Languages: Very good English proficiency
