Job Summary
The Infrastructure Network Operations Engineer is responsible for managing and operating the core network infrastructure of a large-scale private cloud platform. This role ensures high availability, performance, and redundancy across multi-site data centers and WAN connectivity while supporting integration with cloud and security services.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Cisco ACI fabric, including multi-site architecture
- Manage VRFs, EPGs, contracts, and tenant network segmentation
- Design, implement, and operate WAN connectivity, including MPLS and SD-WAN
- Manage BGP routing, internet edge, and ISP connectivity
- Troubleshoot complex network issues across data center and WAN environments
- Ensure high availability and redundancy across primary and DR sites
- Support network integration with security platforms and cloud services
- Participate in disaster recovery testing and failover operations
- Optimize network performance and ensure compliance with operational standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in networks, Communications, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 710 years of experience in data center and WAN networking environments
- Strong hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider networks
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to network reliability
- Cisco ACI (Multi-Site, VRF, EPG, Contracts)
- Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
- WAN & Internet Edge architecture
- SD-WAN concepts and implementation
- Cisco ASR or equivalent routing platforms
- Network troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with network automation and orchestration tools
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to manage high-availability network environments across multiple sites
- Capacity to support 24x7 operations with on-call responsibilities
- Ability to integrate networks with security and cloud platforms
- Capability to participate in disaster recovery and failover planning
- CCNP or CCIE (Data Center or Service Provider)
- Cisco ACI Specialist certification
- SD-WAN certifications (Cisco or equivalent)
