Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage the infrastructure team.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and network security.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Ensure network scalability and reliability.
Plan, deploy, and optimize enterprise WiFi networks.
Conduct site surveys and ensure proper coverage and capacity.
Manage wireless controllers, access points, and security protocols.
Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
Implement and manage infrastructure automation (e.g., scripting, orchestration tools).
Improve operational efficiency through automation of routine tasks.
Integrate automation with monitoring and alerting systems.
Ensure infrastructure complies with security standards and policies.
Implement network security best practices (VPNs, firewalls, access control).
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Oversee daily infrastructure operations and incident management.
Ensure system uptime, backup, and disaster recovery readiness.
Coordinate with vendors and external partners when needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5–8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
Hands-on experience with enterprise WiFi solutions.
Experience with automation tools (e.g., scripting, Ansible, Python, etc.).
Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security.

Preferred Certifications
CCNA / CCNP
MCITP
