Injection Mold Engineer (F/M/D)
Jeddah (South Arabia)
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds with a strong focus on hot runner systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hot runner-related issues, including manifolds, heaters, thermocouples, and valve-gate systems.
- Troubleshoot and eliminate molding defects such as flash, short shots, gate whitening, and haze, particularly in transparent thin-wall parts.
- Support high-speed production by ensuring molds are maintained to meet quality, efficiency, and cycle-time targets.
- Collaborate with production and process teams to optimize mold performance and reduce downtime.
- Ensure proper documentation, spare parts management, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Candidate Profile :
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in injection mold maintenance.
- Proven expertise in hot runner mold systems, including valve-gate technology will be advantage.
- Solid experience with high-speed / thin-wall food packaging molds will be advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in defect analysis and root cause identification.
- Ability to work independently in a demanding, continuous production environment.
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
