Job Overview: Innovation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple programs, ecosystem building events and training, mentor startups, maintain good working relationships with all partners and ensure program success. This position will also take lead in identifying sales leads, developing proposals, pitch goods and services to new clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Brinc's innovation programs, including design thinking workshops, hackathons, sprints, incubation management, call-outs, and inspirational sessions.
- Oversee the successful delivery of programs annually, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Continuously refine and improve program offerings based on client feedback, industry trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their strategic objectives and design customized innovation programs that align with their goals.
- Develop and implement innovative methodologies and curricula tailored to corporate clients needs.
- Drive operational efficiency in program delivery, implementing best practices and continuous improvement processes.
- Monitor program performance and metrics, making necessary adjustments to ensure clients achieve their desired outcomes.
- Lead and mentor a team of cross-functional professionals, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure successful program delivery.
- Conduct primary market and customer research, and in-depth customer reviews to understand their business challenges, system requirements, and benefits achieved.
- Create and deliver presentations and proposals to key stakeholders.
- Scope and prepare SOWs and proposals independently, demonstrating an understanding of client needs and how Brinc's capabilities can uniquely address those needs.
- Coordinating the startup due diligence and review process.
- Origination and Sourcing of new deal flow by way of Research and in collaboration with Management.
- Reach out to and secure relevant corporates, mentors and investors to engage with startups
Job Requirements
- Proven track record in designing and managing innovative programs, incubators, or accelerators
- Proficient Google Suite, Hubspot, Airtable & have strong IT skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Innovation Management, Engineering or related field
- Professional certifications in innovation management, project management or entrepreneurship are advantageous
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in innovation, program management or business development
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align innovation initiatives with organizational goals
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to identify market trends and emerging opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Language Proficiency: English: Fluent (written and spoken) Arabic (Professional proficiency preferred)
- Must be currently residing in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE
