**Inpatient Care Manager**
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage inpatient bed operations, ensuring timely and appropriate bed allocation based on patients clinical needs and hospital capacity.
* Coordinate patient admissions from the Emergency Department, Outpatient Clinics, Operating Rooms, and other referral sources.
* Develop and monitor individualized discharge plans to facilitate safe, timely, and efficient patient discharge.
* Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, case managers, and allied health professionals to optimize patient flow and continuity of care.
* Coordinate with hospital departments including Admissions, Bed Management, Housekeeping, Billing, Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory, and Guest Experience to ensure seamless patient movement.
* Monitor patient length of stay (LOS) and proactively address discharge barriers to improve bed utilization.
* Facilitate multidisciplinary communication to ensure efficient patient placement, transfers, and discharge planning.
* Analyze inpatient occupancy, bed availability, and patient flow metrics to support operational decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and patient safety requirements.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient flow, operational efficiency, and patient experience.
