About the Role

The Inside Sales Representative is accountable for generating leads and converting customer interests into sales transactions in coordination with the field Sales team and Pre-Sales Engineers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) in a timely manner by reaching out to customers for qualification and converting MQLs to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
  • Attract prospects and identify lead generation strategies and opportunities contributing towards an annual revenue target
  • Drive SQLs and successfully close deals in coordination with the field sales team and Pre-Sales Engineers
  • Follow up on a daily basis with customers and partners on open opportunities
  • Accelerate pipeline to closure avoiding losing deals and stalled transactions
  • Forecast accurate deals on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Complete all product trainings, remain up to date and present the company's product portfolio to end users
  • Ensure Salesforce is always up to date and all activities are logged correctly
  • Build quotes in Salesforce and secure discount approvals when necessary
  • Follow up on all renewal opportunities across the territory as assigned by the company

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field.

Required Skills

  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant sales experience in the IT sector, preferable in Network Security domain.
