Inspection Engineer (Fall Protection Systems)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Inspection Engineer – Fall Protection Systems to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and certifying fall protection systems and suspended access equipment across various client sites in the UAE, ensuring compliance with international and local safety standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional with hands-on inspection experience and a passion for ensuring safety at height projects.

About the Requirements

•Diploma/bachelor's in mechanical, Civil, or Safety Engineering (preferred).

•Minimum 3 years experience in fall protection / suspended access inspection.

•Knowledge of standards: EN795, BS7883, BS8610, EN365, ANSI Z359, OSHA 1926.502.

•Skilled in inspection tools and technical reporting.

•Strong English communication (Arabic is a plus).

•UAE Driving License is a must.

About You

•Inspect and test fall protection systems: Abseiling Rails, Anchor Points, Davits,

Trolleys, etc.

•Ensure compliance with EN795, BS7883, BS8610, and local UAE/EIAC

standards.

•Perform design reviews and calculate anchor loadings manually.

•Use torque, pullout, load, and drop testing tools.

•Maintain reports, data traceability, and brief stakeholders on inspection outcomes.

•Advise on system safety, conduct audits, and participate in regular training.
