Inspector - Heavy Vehicles Monitoring

Job Purpose

Execute field and smart inspection activities for heavy vehicles, commercial transport vehicles, and trucks to verify compliance with applicable safety standards and legislation. Support road safety through direct technical inspections, violation processing, data entry, and coordination with authorities and drivers. Maintain accuracy of inspection systems, camera monitoring, and enforcement actions.

Accountabilities:

Operations

Conduct health and safety inspections of heavy vehicles beyond mechanical checks.

Monitor and inspect heavy vehicles, commercial transport vehicles, and heavy and light trucks

to ensure compliance with applicable laws, legislations, and safety requirements.

Ensure the validity of vehicle ownership, insurance, driver license, and professional driving

permit in accordance with legislation.

Coordinate with internal and external authorities to educate drivers on safety standards and

clarify the seriousness of detected technical malfunctions.

Carry out inspection campaigns in coordination with internal and external authorities to

ensure compliance with permits, standards, and regulations.

Product / Process Improvement

Analyze breakdown data posing danger on the road and take necessary measures with

seconded police personnel while submitting periodic reports.

Enter and update control and inspection data on vehicles and drivers, including violations and

fines, and issue follow-up reports.

Operate axial weight stations and gates, ensure compliance with axle weight and maximum

dimension limits, issue violations through applicable systems, and collect fines.

Physical Working Conditions

Required to perform frequent field inspections, site visits, and system monitoring across

inspection sites and axial weight stations as required

Job Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering/Transportation Technology
• 2-3 years of experience
• Preferred: Certifications in Automotive Inspection, Vehicle Safety Standards
