Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Inspector – Heavy Equipment to join our workshop team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and ensuring the quality and performance of heavy machinery, with a strong focus on crawler equipment such as excavators and bulldozers. The role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a detailed inspection of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other machinery
- Perform pre-delivery, routine, and post-repair inspections
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and identify root causes
- Ensure all equipment meets OEM specifications and safety standards
- Prepare accurate inspection reports, condition assessments, and documentation
- Coordinate with workshop technicians for repair and corrective actions
- Monitor the quality of repairs and verify completion before equipment release
- Perform functional testing and performance evaluation of machinery
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations
- Support continuous improvement in inspection processes and quality control
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Relevant technical certifications in heavy equipment inspection or maintenance are an advantage
- OEM training or certifications (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo) preferred
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 06 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment inspection or maintenance
- Proven experience working in a heavy equipment workshop environment
- Prior experience in UAE or GCC region preferred
- Strong reporting Skills.

Strong knowledge of:
- Mechanical systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical and electronic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
