Job Description

Installation Manager

A strong field-operations leader who has managed a sizable installation workforce, understands high-volume installation environments, is highly data-driven and disciplined, and has a proven track record of improving productivity, quality and first-time-right performance.

Experience

•8–12+ years of professional experience.

•At least 4–5 years in installation, fit-out, joinery, furniture, doors, kitchens, closets or a similar field-execution environment.

•Proven experience managing multiple installation teams through supervisors, rather than only managing individual installers.

•Experience in a high-volume, customer-facing operation with daily scheduling and changing priorities.

•Experience managing approximately 50–150+ field employees would be highly desirable.

•UAE/GCC experience is preferred, particularly in a fast-growing manufacturing/installation environment.

Leadership profile

•Strong people manager who can lead supervisors rather than micromanage installers.

•Comfortable setting ambitious targets and holding people accountable.

•Able to create discipline and structure in an operation.

•Has the confidence to challenge poor performance and unacceptable standards.

•Develops people and builds a strong second line.

•Calm under pressure and does not become reactive when problems arise.

Operational capability

•Strong understanding of workforce planning, crew productivity and capacity management.

•Very comfortable working with KPIs and operational data.

•Strong problem-solving and root-cause-analysis capability.

•Proven ability to reduce rework, repeat visits, delays and unfinished work.

•Understands the difference between managing today's problems and eliminating the causes of tomorrow's problems.

•Strong continuous-improvement mindset.

Personality

•High ownership — does not blame other functions.

•Results-oriented — measures success through outcomes.

•Structured and disciplined — creates order and follows through.

•Hands-on but not firefighting-dependent.

•Decisive — makes decisions quickly with imperfect information.

•Persistent — does not accept recurring problems as normal.

•Customer-oriented — understands the importance of installation to the customer experience.

•High standards — naturally pushes for first-time-right execution.
